BEDFORDALE OUTDOOR LIVING

Our clients had recently completed a new home at the top of the Darling Scarp in Bedfordale & wanted to install a new pool outdoor living area. They wished to continue to avail of beautiful views over the coastal plain while gaining protection from strong winds & privacy from neighbours. Shading for the pool was also an important consideration.

The new pool cabana has a motorised louvred roof to provide protection from summer sun & winter rain. Slatted timber screening creates privacy from neighbours without blocking views or light while frameless glass pool fencing allows uninterrupted connection between the two new outdoor spaces.

The existing alfresco area was inadequate & very exposed to prevailing winds & wind blow rain rendering it unusable for much of the year. The new addition blends seamlessly with the original house creating a much larger & more usable space that is protected from the elements for year round enjoyment. High level motorised glass louvres can be opened in summer to allow heat to escape & closed in winter to keep out the rain.
