Irene Coveney

Dip Arch B Arch Sc (hons) ABWA Reg No 3543

Irene is a registered Architect with 30 years of industry experience. She is a member of the Australian Institute of Architects and the National Association of Women in Construction. She was the 2024 recipient of the NAWIC Commendation for “Excellence in Sustainability”. Irene prides herself on forming close working relationships and providing a personalised service for all her clients. Having raised two wonderful kids with Niall, she understands that a modern family home should not only be beautiful, but practical and functional too, and that a family’s needs change over time. A well designed sustainable home should allow for flexible living options to suit all the stages of your life.

  • Irene attained an Honours Degree in Architectural Science from Trinity College Dublin in 1995. After 20 years of professional experience working with award winning Architectural firms in Ireland and Australia, she established her private practice with Niall in 2015. She has a wide range of experience in small commercial, industrial, hospitality, private and multi residential projects.

    Her principal area of expertise is private residential design, with a focus on heritage renovations, and the design of energy efficient, passive solar homes, that are innovative but financially viable!

 
 
 
 
 

Niall Browne

Dip Arch B Arch Sc (hons)

Niall has over 30 years’ experience and is well known within the industry for his design talent in the fields of Architecture, Master Planning, and Urban Design. He brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding of construction methods and detailing to all our projects. Originally from Dublin, Niall has called Australia home for 25 years.

  • Niall attained an Honours Degree in Architectural Science from Trinity College Dublin in 1994. He has 30 years of experience working at executive level for award winning Architectural firms in Dublin, London, Sydney, and Perth.

    Niall has extensive experience in large commercial and retail, grouped, multi, and private residential projects.

    He spent 10 years as WA New Business Manager for Mirvac Design and was responsible for design and master-planning of new projects, potential acquisitions, and co-ordination of public tenders. He also had roles at this level in significant projects in New South Wales, Queensland, and Victoria.

    Niall spent 5 years as Principal at Studio 53 Architects where he continued to expand his knowledge and expertise until the firm merged with Hames Sharley Architects.

    He divides his time between his roles as Senior Associate with HSA and Director at CBA.
